The punctum saliens is the “leaping point.” This blog is the point from which I leap into new ideas and new ways of thinking about Christianity, spirituality, and mysticism. I was raised Fundamentalist Christian until I had enough and “broke away” as a senior in high school. I am now returning to Christianity but from a totally different direction — one that encompasses all mystical traditions. Hopefully my ideas will be radical enough to shock you out of the traditional, mainstream Christian tradition but make enough sense that you will actually think about them. I sincerely want to dialog about these ideas; they are not polished but are rough works in progress. So, take a flying leap with me and see where we land!
Who am I? I’m a computer programmer who’s trying to do something more artistic and more far-reaching. I feel that I’ve got something to say and am trying out this media for saying it.

Hopefully eloquence is a talent I can nurture because if you have to be born with it, I should just give up now. I have my moments, though, so I’ve still got my fingers crossed.
I hope that you will constructively comment on what I have to say and then give me a chance to respond. I’m not going to learn very much if all I do is read my own writing since we all get stuck in thought-ruts and don’t see the alternatives all the time.
