I was not saying that I thought the atheists should run the country. I was merely making a point that I think it would be the only way to completely separate church and state. And I’m not even saying that I think they should be separated — it’s an observation and a comment on that observation.

If my ole noggin serves me right, they tried that last century, way over on the other side of the globe. At the end, after it left a legacy of 100 million victims, when it imploded, the most a propos banner read, "72 years on the road to nowhere." But then in this day and age of history-challenged yung-unz, I guess it would be futile to repeat the adage that those who refuse to learn from history....
